Probus Coorparoo General Meeting

Please note that our monthly meetings will be moving to Belmont Services Bowls Club at Corner of Narracott and Thorne Streets, Carina until further notice. We will be meeting at this venue whilst the Holland Park Sports Club undergoes renovations.​​
Guest Speaker - October
Rupert McCall OAM
Rupert McCall is not only an Australian poet of international renown, but also an Ambassador for the organisation called 42for42.
​
We look forward to hearing from Rupert who will be sharing some of his famous poems as well as giving some background information on 42for42. He will also have some of his books for sale and is happy to sign copies.

This is always a favourite spot for our members. Easts have recently updated their menus with specials and meal deals every day.

Probus Month
For Probus Month we will be taking a Surfers Paradise Canal Cruise. We will explore the stunning waterways, canals and rivers of the Gold Coast.

Lunch will follow at the Southport RSL. Lunch and drinks will be at your own expense.
​

MELBOURNE CUP

Come and join us for a traditional tiered High Tea.

Cost: $42 for members; $46 for non-members

Mahjong, Canasta, Euchre and 500!
Mahjong, Canasta, Euchre and 500 are played each second and fourth Thursday at Fielders Club, Tingalpa. The games are suitable for beginners and experienced players. The games are managed by two of the Probus Club of Coorparoo members.​​

Venue: Fielders Club, 35 Bognor St, Tingalpa.
Time: 10am start - 1:00pm finish.
Coffee and lunch available at the club.​​​​​​
